"The Jungle Cruise"

This is an etched and laser cut Leather map of the actual schematic for the Jungle Cruise, of Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

The Jungle Cruise opened on October 1st 1971 at Disney's Magic Kingdom in Orlando FL. The attraction is a slow moving boat tour of various jungle scenes found throughout the world. This feeling of adventure has guests returning to MK's Adventureland for nearly 50 years. It's popularity would grow to eventually influence the blockbuster Jungle Cruise film staring Dwayne The Rock Johnson, and Emily Blunt.

The ride lasts around 10min. This map displays the full track layout, throughout all of the ride's show scenes. Etches of the various characters and set pieces have been added to each scene, in the same place as their real world counterparts in the attraction. Some of the characters displayed in this art piece are from the opening day version of this ride. For example, the natives are featured around the half-way part of the ride. Small representations of the ride vehicles are also included along the ride track. There is a key on the map which will give the names of the corresponding show rooms across the schematic. The upper left hand corner has the names of every boat used at the ride.

The map is 14in tall and 17in wide. It is cut out of authentic cow hide leather.

It is a great collectible for all fans of theme parks, and makes a wonderful accent to any room.
